Complan, the preferred health drink of the nation, launched the ‘Aro Sapno-Aro Bere Otho’ (Dream More, Grow More) contest with brand ambassador and iconic cricketer Sourav Ganguly last month. The brand announced the winners of the competition today, to celebrate and honour the aspirations of children on Children’s day.
The contest was launched at the Jodhpur Park Pandal last month during Durga Pujo. It was held across 100 schools in Kolkata and children were asked to bring their dreams to life through creative expression, students from classes 2-6 participated in the challenge. Mr. Ganguly went through the beautifully created artworks and selected ten winners of the contest. The exceptionally talented kids took home INR 1, 00,000 prize money each and won the chance to meet Sourav Ganguly.
Commenting on the endeavour, former India skipper Mr. Sourav Ganguly said, “I am very happy to be associated with Complan that is going beyond advertisements to encourage kids to dream more & grow more. It’s a fantastic endeavour and as a father, I realise the importance of dreams. I am overjoyed with the kind of response this contest has received from students and teachers. I am pleased to announce the winners of this contest”
Sudeep Kashyap, CMO of Kraft Heinz India said “The competition was an extension of the #KomProteinCholbeNa (#LessProteinWontDo) campaign that Complan held in West Bengal, earlier this year. The movement had a single point agenda to help educate mothers about a message that the brand feels strongly about – if dreams shouldn’t be incomplete, why should protein be? Now we are trying to do our bit through this contest to help her remove another barrier, lack of money.”
“Complan has taken an excellent effort by encouraging our children to participate in this creative contest. It has been a wonderful experience for my kid. He was very excited to meet Dada,” said mother of one of the shortlisted contestants.
Imtiyaz Ahmed, principal of C.M.O Primary School said, “It is a privilege for our institution to participate in Aro Sapno-Aro Bere Otho, we are proud of all the students who participated in the event. It is wonderful to see Complan encouraging young kids to follow their dreams and Dada’s support towards the right causes”.
