We all love a good film with a great story. But when the story is real hard truth, the film takes a different dimension. It becomes more than just entertainment – it becomes a retelling of reality.Pabitra Goswami’s debut film ‘ Kintu….Galpo Noy’ is one such film.

Born in a suburb of Kolkata, Pabitra Goswami is a surgeon by profession and an  avid cinephile. ‘ Kintu….Galpo Noy’ is the outcome of his long association with Students Health Home. The film is based on a true story. Its a story of struggle and love-love for individuals, love for family,love for society, and above all love for humanity.

The cast of the film consists of Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Badsha Moitra, Paran Bandapadhyay, Debshankar Halder, Ashoke Mukherjee, Meghnad Bhattacharya, Papia Adhikari, Sayantani, Priyam, Sarthak and Shyamal Dutta. Music director is Parag Baran. Producer is Chabi Goswami.

Pabitra says, “Its unfortunate that most of us dont know that  every student gets the benefit of a whole range of medical treatment at moderate rates on being enrolled as a member of the Students Health Home on payment of Rs. 5/- per session.”
