Vistara plans to connect more destinations from Kolkata

vas2__Kolkata : Continuing its efforts to expand its network to the main aviation hubs of the country, Vistara has added Kolkata by starting flights from Delhi.International travelers from the city will benefit from convenient same-terminal connections and international baggage allowance to global destinations via Vistara’s hub at T3 Delhi, through Vistara’s interline partnerships with 12 global airlines.
At its launch in January 2015, Vistara used to carry 700 passengers a day, which had jumped to nearly 8,000 passengers a day nowVistara is raising number of seats in each of its flights from 148 to 158 by cutting the number of business class seats from 16 to eight and premium economy offerings from 38 to 24 thus freeing up space to take number of economy seats to 126.

With the addition of Kolkata in Vistara’s network and introduction of direct flights between Delhi and Kochi, shortly after the launch of Jammu, Srinagar, Kochi and Chandigarh, Vistara’s footprint in India continues to grow at a rapid pace further enhancing the base of airline’s loyal customers.”
Currently, the airline connects 17 domestic destinations with 457 flights a week and the load factor is around 80 percent. In the next few months, Vistara plans to connect more destinations from Kolkata.
The latest additions to Vistara’s network reflects the airline’s commitment of bringing high quality, international-level service standards in air travel across the length and breadth of India including the eastern market.
