Rupam Bhuyan is an Indian playback singer from Assam.  He is the frontman of the Indian fusion band North East Breeze. Recently his Bengali modern songs album Kichu Gaan , Kichu Abesh was launched on the 91st birth anniversary of Dr  Bhupen Hazarika at  Gaganendra Shilpa Pradarshashala in Kolkata. Jayanta Malla Baruah Honorable Chairperson Assam Tourism development Corporation Ltd. Manisha Hazarika, joint secretary of The Bhupen Hazarika Cultural Trust, renowned percussionist Bickram Ghosh and actress and dancer Jaya Seal Ghosh launched the album. Sumit Acharjya and Anubhav Yogi have penned the lyrics for the songs.



The album features songs of every type and is expected to appeal to a wide range of audience.
The album has six songs. The first two songs Jonaki Hoye and Baroxa Ranir are melodious romantic songs. While Ei Aami and Bhorer Aloy is about life. Ke Je Apon is a philosophical number. And the album ends with a song positive note talking about dreams- Surer Pakha. “I really hope and pray that everyone likes this album in which we have dedicated a lot of hard work .” said Rupam.
Brought out by SONY Music and Chobi Production, the music album has been priced at Rs 100 and will be a great treat for the music lovers this festive season.
