People of all faith pay tributes to deceased CRPF soldiers

At least 40 CRPF jawans were killed and dozens injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Awantipora, Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. This is the worst attack on India’s armed forces since the Uri airbase attack in 2016. A condolence meeting,candle march and all faith prayer was held which was jointly organised by All lndia Minority Forum, Mother Teresa Memorial Peace Committee and various other Organisations.  Md Idris Ali, Member of Parliament, Most Ven Arunjyoti Mahathero,M A Ali,Dr Suresh Kumar Agarwal , Md Ehteshamul Haque Siddiqui and others were present.

others took part in the rally and prayed that their souls rest in peace. They strongly condemned the killing of 42 soldiers in Kashmir by Pakistan extremists and demanded a logical and permanent solution to terrorism . “We just wanted to express our solidarity towards our fellow countrymen, through this candle march. We do want to express our condolences to the family members of those jawans who have lost their life.”Idris Ali, the president of the All India Minority Forum.
