Lifestyle Brand, “India Shoppe” is all set to target a whopping Rs. 400 Crore turnover for the FY-2016-17. India Shoppe, a start-up had commenced its operations in the year 2013. In the Financial Year 2013-14, it had registered a turnover of Rs. 73.22 Crore and in the Financial Year 2014-15, it had reached a turnover of Rs. 141.24 Crore, a jump of 93%. For the Financial Year 2015-16, unaudited figure was above 250 Crore.
India Shoppe(http://www.indiashoppe.com), a promising lifestyle brand, is conceptualized and promoted by Mr. Rajesh Jain, a first generation entrepreneur and a technology enthusiast, from Chennai, with nearly two decades of exposure in various business verticals; had made its foray into retail sector in July 2013. Rajesh is also an avid social worker & associated with various organizations to help poor & rehabilitation centers. His family has donated a day care hospital in Ayanavaram which is run by RYA Cosmo Foundation.
The company offers both offline and online store fronts, for convenient shopping.
So far the company runs as a bootstrap company, running and managing the operations with it’s own capital and operating revenues.
Now, with a vision to grow from a start up to a large value creator, the company is eyeing on further expansion of scale of operations, setting up more Distribution Centers for easy delivery, planning more stores and investing in new product lines and technology. Expansion Plan in Neighboring Countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka is also there.
