OP Jindal University’s Global Business School, India’s first multi-disciplinary business school, organized the first of a series interactive sessions “Meet the Dean” in Kolkata. The session was a career counseling activity under the expert guidance of Dr. Tapan K. Panda, the Dean, of the Jindal Global Business School, for aspiring business management students.
The objective of the programmewas to introduce and counsel students about career choices through various degree programmes, executive education, research and consulting. The session also focused on business and entrepreneurship as an emerging career option and talked of opportunities in the field. The Dean of the Jindal Global Business School,Dr. Tapan K Panda spoke to the students about the benefits of dual degrees, encouraged them to ask questions and cleared their doubts about international business programmes in collaborating institutions.
A thought leader and author of many books, Dr Panda has worked for 24 years with premium Business Schools in India and in USA. He was earlier Director, Great Lakes Institute of Management. He has also beenDirector, IIM Indore, and Consultant with leading corporates in India.
