With the rapid evolution and general public awareness of design, the Interior Architecture/Design discipline requires a stronger foundation, with a deeper understanding and development of how the built environment affects and shapes humanity.ABID is the 1st community in India to celebrate this day and the theme of this year is “Interiors Innovation”. The celebration was marked with live innovation and designs being installed at four different malls in the city . The malls like Quest, Homeland, Mani Square & Acropolis. Though, the event was celebrated with a talk & interactive session at Quest Mall which saw few eminent personalities like Actress Koneenica Banerjee, Designer Agnimitra Paul, and many more to be present on the 1st day of the Interior Innovation.

To name a few innovation which you will be able to see are Irony, Rhythm, Metamorphosis, Epitome, hulk, Birds Eye, Sojourn , Interjection , congregation to name a few .” said Mr.Anand Gupta, Secretary ABID.
The industry observed a major shift in consumer’s buying behaviour owing to the rising middle class incomes and an enhanced style of living is further giving bounce to the industry’s growth. From home furnishings to modular kitchens and luxury tableware market, the home décor sector is now set for new high as consumers are ready to splurge on it. What is really making it a tremendous sector to invest in is mainly the increasing housing projects, growth in organised retail, changing demographic structure, growing demand of readymade furniture, modular kitchens and attractive wallpapers for walls. Brands are further focused on tapping the metros and small cities owing to the consumers’ altering standard of living and development of residential and commercial infrastructure.
